How long does it take to move house?

There are many factors, depending on the number of your belongings, plus the travel distance to the destination point. There are also other factors like parking, dismantling furniture etc. Remember the better prepared you are, makes the job quicker, easier and saves you money.

How do you price your services?

We can give a quote for the entire job, or calculate by the hour. We ask our customers to get a couple of quotes beforehand so they can appreciate how we always endeavour to give a better deal. Please Remember the more prepared you are the less time is spent on the move and the more money you could potentially save.

How do I pay?

We accept cash on completion or credit card payments. However, a deposit is required and will be taken off the overall amount owed. For Corporate clients or Agencies, we offer Bank transfer too. You pay after the job is done.

Are you fully insured?

Yes, our removals service is fully insured for all your stuff up to £50,000 per van load!

Can you do Same Day Services? Weekend Removals, Overnight or Bank Holidays etc?

Yes, no problem, our removals services operate every day of the week, any time. Please keep in mind, there is an additional cost for working overnight (anti-sociable hours) (after 7pm).

Are you willing to make 2 or 3 journeys if the need arises?

Yes, no problem whatsoever.

Can you send just one man and I/we will help?

Yes, we are willing to make exceptions in certain cases, but only as long as you are healthy and have no medical problems that could jeopardise your well-being further. We will not be responsible should you get injured or damage your items, as our insurance only covers our own staff.

What van size will I need? How many men will be required for my job?

The van you need depends on what you need moving, and the house size counts too. When booking a removal, you will be asked about the items you need relocating, and the quantity. Based on that information - our removal company sends the most appropriate van & team.

What is the latest we can start?

We are flexible on that - but for late working time extra fee applies (after 7 pm).

Does the price include boxes and packing?

We can provide boxes and packing materials for an extra fee. We also offer packing and unpacking services.

Can you move large furniture - sofas, bed, wardrobes, pianos, safes?

Yes, we do that. For really heavy items and higher floors, some extra fees will apply due to the specifications of the work, manpower and time consumption.

Do you dismantle the furniture and assemble it back?

Yes, we are equipped with the necessary tools to help with basic furniture assembly and disassembly, but small charges do apply for basic stuff.

Do you provide conference on-site (viewing)?

Yes, we do. Video Surveys save time, you only need a mobile phone or tablet with a camera. It can all be done in under 10 minutes. Call us and schedule a video survey now.

Do you offer Storage?

Yes, we do! It is calculated on a weekly basis from a trusted storage site in Stoke on Trent. Basically, you don’t have to do anything, we collect your items, and store them neatly for you. We take pictures of the whole procedure and send them to you throughout the move for your peace of mind and assurance. Should you wish us to use a storage facility of your own choice anywhere in the country, we are happy to comply.

Is the storage service insured? Will my items be safe in the facility?

Yes, against fire, theft and damage. CCTV cameras 24/7 - Security Guaranteed.

Can I add more items from my storage unit?

Yes, no problem, simply give us a call and we’ll arrange for another trip.

Can I cancel a service Mr. T’s Removals?
